Brent: Product

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Question: I have had my goats on 3 lbs/day of Ntimidator and 6 oz/day of High Octane supplement since 8/2/09. We show in late February 2010 and I was thinking of switching to Power Fuel supplement for the remainder of the feeding time to ensure they have enough fat on them. Do you think it is too early to switch to the Power Fuel?

Answer: Brent,

Thank you for your email and for choosing HONOR Show Chow.

I assume that when you say you are feeding the High Octane supplement, that you are feeding Champion Drive topdress. High Octane is actually the name of our show supplement brand. Power Fuel is also a High Octane show supplement.

There is no need to replace Champion Drive with Power Fuel. The two can be fed together and compliment each very well. The feeding rate for Champion Drive however, is 8 ounces per day (1/2 lbs per day). I suggest feeding that rate to improve the goats top (volume and shape of muscle).

I suggest adding Power Fuel to NTimidator and Champion Drive at 8 ounces per day to add cover.

Thanks again,
